Now, more than ever, I believe it is essential to bring my skills to bear in offering a healing practice that is based in physical connection.
I began my healing work as a bodywork practitioner in 2012, and since that time have invested my heart and mind in the profound connection between physical and emotional aspects of health. Through my careers in bodywork, dance, and mental health I have been and developing my kinesthetic and emotional intelligence for over 20 years. I’ve been able to benefit from the wisdom and the poetics of my somatic practice and the power of purposeful embodiment. This has served me well in a world of ever-shifting obstacles.
I’ve personally benefited from the cultivation of resilience through my practice of Contact Improvisation (CI).

This has served me well in a world of ever-shifting obstacles. I first learned about fascia through my training in CI. This lead me to pursue a career in Structural Integration Therapy and Thai Massage. Structural Integration aims at supporting more easeful mobility through helping to release restrictions within the fascia or connective tissue of the body. What I learned in my training and then experienced within my sessions was that deeply held emotions are lodged in the tissues of the body. I have found that for many of my clients, these can be hidden in the unconscious and contribute to physical tensions. I pursued a degree in clinical social work to gain confidence in my skillset to address the psychological blocks and encourage emotional release.
I’ve been training, tuning, and mastering kinesthetic and emotional intelligence throughout my entire life.
Influenced by my dance career, I consider movement integration as a therapeutic treatment tool. Specifically, somatic attunement – tuning into the sensations in our own body – enhances the therapeutic effect, carrying beyond the session to help clients gain access to the benefits available from a state of deep calm.
I am excited to share my unique method of bodywork that is deeply informed by and rooted in my intuitive and improvisational movement practices. Central to my work is the physical and emotional connection with my clients. Through connecting my clients with their own bodies and its sensations, it is my intention to offer the agency over their somatic response to life’s journey. I think this helps to highlight the trust, wisdom, and power that comes from listening to our bodies.
It’s an honor for me to witness my clients exploring a renewed experience of freedom and fluidity. And to witness them live more embodied lives.
