I offer a unique blend of modalities for individuals and couples that include: psychotherapy, coaching, somatic bodywork, nature-based and expressive arts therapies. Whether you seek support for physical discomfort, emotional healing, or personal growth, my practice provides a safe haven where you can explore new ways of being.
I affirm trans, queer, and non-binary people. My approach is patient, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that vulnerability is power and slowing down can help bring you closer to understanding your inner experiences. As we learn to tolerate discomfort and embrace our feelings, we create a sense of calm that can ease both mental and physical stress.
Born out of a deep fascination with the intricate relationship between physical and emotional well-being, my journey has been shaped by a diverse range of influences. As a Structural Integration bodyworker, I dedicated years to understanding and assisting individuals in achieving greater mobility by releasing restrictions within the fascia, the connective tissue of the body. Movement integration, influenced by my dance background, has become an invaluable tool in my therapeutic repertoire. Through my career as a Contact Improvisation dance teacher, I honed my ability to convey comfort, ease, and fluidity through movement. This form of physical communication beautifully complements my therapeutic practice, as it illuminates the profound metaphors we encounter in life, such as intuitive listening, the interplay of tension and release, and the importance of seeking physical support. Drawing from these concepts, I guide my clients in releasing excessive muscular tension, offering them holistic relief.
My practice is deeply informed by my extensive experience living in community environments and households throughout my life. Immersed in practices like circling, authentic relating, and reflective listening, I have honed my skills in understanding and navigating interpersonal dynamics. Building on my training in theater and dance, I initially pursued a career as a classroom arts integration specialist, infusing expressive arts into education. Today, I incorporate expressive arts into my therapeutic approach. It is an immense honor for me to support transformative processes and accompany my clients on their path to self-discovery and well-being.
By authentically addressing the entire individual, we work together to uncover the layers that are stifling your full expression. With the support of this safe container, we help ignite your innate wisdom and guide you to navigate life's challenges with resilience and grace.
